Understand Your Prescription
Patients can either bring a referral from their own doctor or consult with our in-house physician for a assessment. Once a prescription is provided, it is sent to our pharmacy, where our licensed pharmacist dispenses the product. This ensures every patient receives safe, professional care and the right treatment for their needs.
Your initial prescription is valid for a specific period of time (typically 30 days), based on your doctor's advice.
You have the option to fill the entire prescription at once, or in smaller quantities, spread out over the validity period of the prescription.

Step 1:
Get Your Prescription
See your own doctor or consult with our in-house doctor. If medicinal cannabis is right for you, the doctor will issue a prescription.
Step 2:
Visit Island Therapeutics
The prescription can be sent directly to Island Therapeutics’ pharmacy, or you can bring it in yourself.
Step 3:
Pharmacist Care & Dispensing
Our pharmacist reviews the prescription, discusses available treatment options, and prepares the exact strain and dose.
You may choose to fill the full amount at once or in smaller quantities during the prescription period.
Step 4:
Follow-Up & Renewal
At the end of the prescription period, your doctor will re-evaluate your treatment. They may adjust the dosage or extend the validity on a new prescription. A consultation fee applies for renewals.
